One of the things I’ve been working on this year has been discovering how to slow down. I believe that this simple concept holds the key to aging gracefully. I do mention it from time to time in my newsletters, but what I’ve learned and put into practice cannot be explained in three paragraphs.

It’s not easy to pull away, get off the hamster wheel and go in the opposite direction of everyone else. It also goes against everything that is “sold” to us as being the way to do things. It’s also very lonely.

I was putting together a notebook of my notes, articles, documentaries, etc. to use as a reference guide for myself in 2023 (because it’s one thing to know the stuff, but one needs to put it into practice to get the benefits) and a light bulb went off in my head: what if others wanted the same thing but they didn’t have anyone else to reach out to?

It occurred to me that I should be helping others and teaching them about this lifestyle. I want to form a community where I can teach you how to create space, boundaries and new ways of doing self-care.

In order for me to be able to teach this, I had to first embody it myself, which is what I have been doing for the past three years. It has felt like I have been learning a new language, one that is rarely spoken.

I know this sounds a bit vague, but if any of it makes sense to you, or you’re mildly curious, I want to invite you to sign up to receive more information when it’s ready.

I know some of you are only here for the skincare info (and that’s wonderful!), but this is something beyond skincare and I don’t want to be clogging up your inbox with info you don’t want – which is why I am creating a separate email list for those that are interested.
